Best insulin syringes for GLP-1 injections — gauge and length

For those self-injecting compounded GLP-1s, what syringes are you using? I've been using 31g 5/16" (8mm) insulin syringes and they work great — barely feel the pinch. The 30g also works but is slightly thicker. Anyone using auto-injectors or pen needles?

31g 8mm is the sweet spot for SC injections. Anything shorter (6mm) risks not reaching the subcutaneous fat layer in some people. I buy in bulk from medical supply sites — much cheaper than pharmacies.

I use pen needles (4mm 32g) with my compounded vials by drawing into a pen cartridge. Bit of a hack but works. The 4mm needle is virtually painless.
