Now that Zepbound is approved for weight loss, is there any real difference between Zepbound and Mounjaro besides the label and price? My insurance covers Mounjaro for T2D but not Zepbound for weight loss. Curious if anyone has switched.
Zepbound vs Mounjaro — same drug different price?
Same molecule, same dosing schedule. The only difference is the FDA indication and insurance coverage. Mounjaro = T2D, Zepbound = obesity.
I switched from Mounjaro to Zepbound when my T2D went into remission. Zero difference in efficacy or side effects.
