Our Mission

PepsReview was founded to fill a critical gap in the peptide information landscape: there was no independent, community-driven platform where people could find objective reviews of peptides, compare vendor prices transparently, and access peer-reviewed research in one place. Our mission is to provide accurate, unbiased, and scientifically grounded information about research peptides—empowering our community to make informed decisions.

We believe transparency matters. Every editorial rating on our site is derived from a documented methodology, every vendor listing is verified, and every user review is published without vendor influence. We do not accept payment for positive reviews, and we clearly distinguish between editorial content and user-generated content.

Who Runs PepsReview

PepsReview is operated by an independent editorial board with backgrounds in pharmacology, biochemistry, and data journalism. Our team includes:

  • Editorial Director — Oversees content standards, ensures all editorial reviews follow the published methodology, and manages corrections.
  • Research Editor — Curates and indexes peer-reviewed research papers, verifying citations and source quality before publication.
  • Community Manager — Moderates user reviews, handles disputes, and maintains community guidelines.
  • Data Analyst — Maintains vendor price data, tracks pricing trends, and verifies vendor legitimacy before listing.

Our editorial team operates independently from any vendor or manufacturer. No member of the editorial board holds a financial interest in any peptide vendor listed on this site.

Editorial Methodology

Each peptide reviewed on PepsReview receives an editorial score based on a standardized, category-specific rubric. Our methodology includes:

  1. Research Aggregation — We index peer-reviewed studies from PubMed, Google Scholar, and other scientific databases. Each peptide page links directly to source papers so users can verify claims.
  2. Criteria-Based Scoring — Every peptide is scored across multiple criteria relevant to its category (e.g., efficacy, safety profile, research depth, cost-effectiveness). Scores are on a 0–10 scale and are explained transparently on each peptide page.
  3. Community Reviews — Verified users can submit their own experiences, including sub-criteria ratings. Community ratings do not influence editorial scores, but are displayed alongside them.
  4. Vendor Verification — Before a vendor is listed, we verify their legitimacy, product testing practices, and customer service track record. Vendors that fail verification are not listed.
  5. Regular Updates — Editorial scores and research databases are reviewed on a regular basis. When new significant research is published, we update our content accordingly and note the update.

How Reviews Are Collected

PepsReview features two types of reviews:

  • Editorial Reviews — Written by our editorial board using the methodology described above. These are clearly marked and include full sourcing.
  • User Reviews — Submitted by registered, email-verified users. Users rate peptides on specific criteria and can leave written feedback. We require email verification to reduce spam and fraudulent reviews. User reviews are moderated for compliance with our community guidelines but are otherwise published unedited.

We do not allow vendors to review their own products or competitors' products. Any user found violating this rule will have their reviews removed and account terminated.
