On Tuesday I did my usual price-and-delivery check for sparkling water: one store had 18-packs at $5.99, the other had them at $6.49 but a free-delivery threshold I could hit at $35. I ordered three cases, and when they arrived I carried both 18-pound totes up the 14 steps to my second-floor apartment in one go.
Last spring I would have parked them on the landing and made two trips. I only clocked it because I was timing the delivery window to see if the fee was worth it.
No workout, no prep — just a normal errand that didn’t require a strategy. Anyone else notice a random chore quietly stopped needing a plan?
