Closing shift leftovers are my real portion test

I run a small breakfast-and-lunch spot. At close there's usually a quart of soup, two muffins, and a half pan of roasted vegetables that can't be sold tomorrow. My old habit was to take it home so it didn't waste, then graze while I closed the register. Since starting a GLP-1 in March, my dinner appetite is quieter, but the free-food guilt is loud. Last night I packed only the vegetables, left the muffins, and still thought about them on the drive home. Do you have a closing-time rule that keeps this from becoming a whole debate every night? Not askig medical stuff, just the mental script.
