Three months on reta, and I've been on the same ADHD stimulant for years. What I didn't expect was how much the two "quiet" feelings overlap.
My med already turns the snack chatter down mid-morning, and reta seems to hold that quiet through the afternoon. So when I feel real hunger around 4pm, I've started treating it as information instead of something to push past.
I keep a two-line note on my phone: the time I actually felt hunger, and what I'd eaten before it arrived. Nothing elaborate. Fifteen days in, the clearest pattern is that my roughest window sits between my med fading and dinner.
I sort of knew that, but seeing it written down made it feel less like a personal failing.
Gently curious whether anyone else reads their stimulant wearing off as a hunger event rather than a mood one. Not changing anything yet, mostly watching.
