The floor test told me more than the number did

Something small happened last month that I keep turning over. I sat down on the floor to reorganize a bookshelf, and when I stood up I didn't need to brace a hand on the coffee table. Same body, same afternoon, no dramatic moment — just a movement that used to take some planning and now doesn't.

I've been keeping a few paper notes each morning: how my knees feel on the stairs, sleep quality, whether I'm actually hungry at 2pm or just restless. The knee line has quietly improved for about ten weeks.

My weight has been much lumpier — down a bit, sideways for a while, down again — so the two records disagree in tone, if that makes sense.

I'm trying not to let the smoother signal make me overconfident, and also not to wave it off just because the scale is being noisy that week. I'm cautious about reading too much into any single morning.

Curious whether anyone else keeps a non-scale note like this, and what eventually made you trust it?
