One dinner tasted like a memory and didn't wreck my week

For what it's worth, last Saturday I made the lemon-lentil soup my grandma used to make, mostly because I wanted the smell in the apartment. Since starting Ozempic in March, meals have become quieter—not bad, just less pushy.

I dished a small bowl, added a spoon of yogurt, and ate slowly. Halfway through, my body said enough, so I stopped and put the rest in the fridge.

What surprised me was that the first few bites still felt like a reset. Warm, tart, familiar. I wasn’t chasing a full plate; I just wanted the taste and the memory.

It didn’t undo anything, and I didn’t feel deprived. I logged it as a good meal, not a cheat, and moved on.

Has anyone else had a smaller-than-expected portion still hit that deep, settled spot? I’d love to hear what it was.
