Road life has been winning lately. I did four cities in eleven days, and my usual grip on meals got slippery: grab-and-go sandwiches, late dinners, a couple of drinks with colleagues, and not nearly enough water. My home routine is boring in a good way — eggs, salad, a walk after dinner. Travel me is a raccoon with an expense account. The scale read 185.4 this morning, up 3.2 from when I left. I’m not spiraling, but it’s annoying to feel my appetite is still quiet while my weight creeps the other direction. Even with the GLP-1 doing its thing, the medication isn’t a shield from my own chaos. I know sodium, sleep, and less movement can mess with the number, so I’m going back to my normal two anchors: protein at breakfast and a walk before the first meeting. Anyone else see a few pounds show up after a stretch of road weeks?
Road weeks added three pounds and my mini fridge is smug
