I’m about 20 months into maintenance, so this month’s milestone list is short and honest.
Good: a local 5K in 38:42, a personal best by 48 seconds, with even splits and no heroics. Bad: my right calf tightened around 4 km, so I jogged the last stretch easy and walked home. Numbers: three easy walks, two short strength sessions, sleep averaging 7h10, and my weight trend flat inside 0.6 lb.
The long game is mostly boring in a good way. How do you mark a personal best without turning it into a chase?
