I weigh every morning before coffee — same spot, same old bathroom scale — and I lift three times a week at the little rec center here. The scale has been parked around 212 for almost two weeks, which makes me twitchy, but my deadlift went from 135 to 155 and my work jeans fit differently. I started writing my morning number right next to my lifting notes, so I can see "same weight, more reps" instead of just a flat line. Kind of a small-town trick, but it helps my head. My pharmacist also mentioned my insurance might cover a dietitian visit, so I may ask about protein and recovery. Any other daily weighers who lift? Do you weigh before or after workouts, or do you just ignore the scale on gym days?
