Did a neighborhood 5K on the anniversary of my heaviest scale reading

Yesterday was 52 weeks since the morning I logged my highest weight — 249.6. I didn’t plan a symbolic thing, but a local fun-run 5K was happening, so I walked/jogged it. Finished in 38:10, which is slow in absolute terms but wild compared to where I started. I’m on a GLP-1, and I try to be precise: the trials show average loss, not a guarantee, and my own appetite suppression has varied by month. What I noticed today was mechanical: less load on my knees, easier breathing on the inclines, and I actually had gas left for the last quarter mile. Not trying to make it more mystical than that. Still, it felt like a useful check-in that didn’t involve a scale. Anyone else mark time with a distance or event instead of a weigh-in?
