For lifters four days a week, how did a goal weight change your plan

I lift four mornings a week, keep protein around 160g, sleep about 7.5 hours, and have been logging waist tape and a weekly average for 12 weeks. A bodyweight target I set in the spring landed this week, and my first thought was to yank calories down because it felt like a finish line.

That’s exactly the shortcut-brain stuff I’m trying to avoid. For people focused on recomp: when a target number lands, do you change anything or keep the boring plan and let lifts and measurements decide?

I’m curious what your experience has been.
