My progress photo roll is a boring but useful log

I’m 31, lift four days a week, and treat protein and sleep like part of the program. Every first Sunday I take the same three photos: front, side, back, same bathroom light, same spot.

No posing, no pump, no filter. The scale has moved 14 pounds since January, but the pics mostly show less lower-back bloat, better posture, and my shoulders sitting a little wider.

My squat and bench haven’t dropped, which matters more to me than a fast drop. I’m not chasing shortcuts, so the slow recomp look is fine.

The weird part: the photo I almost deleted at month three is now the one that proves something changed. I keep the album hidden because staring at it daily makes me nitpick.

Anyone else get more signal from a dull photo set than from the scale?
