Posting this mostly to get it out of my head instead of refreshing the app.
Down 41 pounds since January, but the last nine weeks the scale has bounced inside a three-pound window no matter what I do. Before anyone asks: I weigh and log everything, 140g protein most days, three lifting sessions, 9–10k steps. Sleep has been trash for two weeks thanks to a kid with an ear infection, and I know that's part of it.
What's weird is the tape. Waist is down an inch and a half during the flat stretch and my resting heart rate dropped about 5 bpm. So something is still happening under the noise, it's just not showing up where I want it to.
I keep flip-flopping between "trust the process" and "this is the part where it quietly quits working on me." Not planning anything drastic.
For those who sat through a long flat stretch: did you hold the course, or change one variable at a time? And how long did you give a change before deciding it did nothing?
