Seasonal notes taught me more than a single month did

I started keeping a one-page note at the start of each season — not weight, just three lines: afternoon hunger, grocery defaults, and whether I take the stairs at work. July's page said: 4pm crash, crackers, elevator. I looked at October's page yesterday: steady until dinner, yogurt and frozen shrimp, stairs unless I'm carrying too much. The scale is down 11 pounds since July, but that's almost the least interesting part. There was an old thread here about tracking trends over single days; that has clicked for me. I still have bad weeks. The seasonal comparison just makes them look like weather, not climate. Anyone else use a longer snapshot than a week?
