The 14-week resting heart rate line bent before the scale

I keep a 28-day rolling average for resting heart rate because the daily number is noisy and I am mildly allergic to trusting a single morning. My RHR was 71 in March. This week it is 58. Weight is down 16.4 lb over the same stretch, which is fine, but the slope I actually care about is -0.83 bpm per week. The weird part is the behavior change was accidental: I started taking the parking garage stairs because the elevator line got long, and now I notice I am not pausing at the third landing. I was skeptical of NSVs because they can turn into a highlight reel. This one is boring, numeric, and in my spreadsheet. What non-scale metric has actually held up in your tracking?
