The pastry tray still talks after a full year

I hit my one-year mark this week. I didn't do a big post; I just wrote a note on the back of a vendor order sheet. The thing I noticed: the pastry tray at work still talks to me at the 3 p.m.

lull, but now I move it to the far counter before I plate lunch and keep a cut-up apple in the little fridge. Yesterday I ate one bite of a lemon bar, wrapped the rest, and didn't graze the offcuts. A year ago I would have called that impossible.

I'm not perfect — I still taste for quality — but the pause is longer and my portions are smaller. My question: what tiny kitchen habit has made the biggest difference for you?
