my dorm fridge currently holds three yogurt cups, a bag of frozen edamame, and one sad lime. I gave myself a $35 grocery cap this week and tried to rank cheap protein by cost per gram: tuna packets, eggs, rotisserie chicken from the campus market, canned beans. The spreadsheet got very serious. Then I looked at the peptide catalog chatter in a group chat and realized I was using the same energy to compare things I can't buy and macros I can actually eat. Small win: I hit 120g protein on a dining hall day using two eggs, a tuna wrap, Greek yogurt, and lentils, and I only cried a little at the register. Mild frustration: the 'cheap' protein shakes at the student store are $4.50, which is not cheap on my budget. Anyone else turn peptide-curious doomscrolling into 'what can I microwave tonight' planning?
My dorm protein spreadsheet is the only catalog I can afford
