Planning an order soon and Pickpeptides (pickpeptides.com) is on my shortlist since they post prices and COAs. Before I pull the trigger: are those COAs batch-specific and downloadable before ordering, with lot number, test date, lab name, and HPLC/MS methods? Also which analytical labs issue them, and can I independently verify purity/mass? Do listed prices include shipping, or are there minimum order values, payment methods, or currency/location-based taxes? Where do they ship from, what carrier/cold-chain options exist, and what's typical dispatch/transit for temperature-sensitive research peptides? And what's their legal/business location? Finally, which product forms/sizes are actually in stock vs just catalog listings? Anyone with recent experience?
Pickpeptides batch testing COAs missing lot numbers and dates
I downloaded two COAs from their site last month. Both had lot numbers and test dates, but only one listed the HPLC method. The MS panel was just a mass, no spectra. Better than nothing, but I still emailed to ask for the full lab report.
Short quip: COA before checkout? Yes, but you have to hunt the product page. No global COA library that I found.
They ship from a Midwest fulfillment address, based on my tracking. Domestic only for me so far. International friends should ask about customs paperwork before paying.
Payment was card only. No crypto, no bank transfer. Prices didn't include shipping; flat rate appeared at checkout. No minimum order for my small basket.
I asked support about the issuing labs. They named Janoshik and MZ Biolabs for older lots, but newer ones came from a third lab I hadn't heard of. Independent verification? You'd have to contact the lab with the lot number.
Diarist tone: Ordered Tuesday, got tracking Thursday. COA PDF arrived in the confirmation email, matching the lot on the vial. Lab name was there. Test date was two months old. Still wish they'd link raw data.
Very short: Taxes showed up based on my state. Shipping not included. Currency was USD only.
I'm skeptical of any vendor that posts COAs but not the full chromatogram. Pickpeptides at least lists methods, which is more than most. Still waiting on a reply about independent verification.
New here. Do the batch COAs change with every restock? I saw one lot with a Janoshik report and another with no lab logo. That inconsistency makes me want to wait.
