Loose skin is the part nobody put on the cafe menu

I’m 63 pounds down over about 15 months, and while the scale has been kinder, my skin has its own plans. My upper arms ripple when I’m frosting a cake, my lower belly folds over my waistband in a way that still startles me, and my thighs clap when I hustle across the cafe floor.

I’m not mad about it, exactly — more like I saved up for a renovation and now I’m staring at the drop cloths.

The pastry tray still talks to me, but I’ve gotten better at not answering every call. Some days compression helps me feel put together; other days I just wear the soft apron and move on. I’m lifting twice a week and drinking more water, though I know that’s not a magic eraser.

For those further along: did yours tighten at all, stay mostly the same, or become something you made peace with? I’d love the honest middle-of-the-road version.
