Three years on this forum, about two on meds, and the scale can still surprise me. Last week was a normal-ish Thursday: two dog walks, poor sleep, takeout ramen. Friday I was up 2.6 lbs. Saturday up another 0.4. Sunday I was down 3.2 and below where I'd started. Same food plan, same movement, no wild changes. My 10-day average barely twitched. I didn't panic, mostly because I've read enough here to expect water and digestion to do their own thing, but it was a strange little round trip to watch. The part that gets me is how convincing the high number feels in the moment, even when I know the trend is boring. Anyone else get these short detours after one salty meal, or is sleep usually the bigger culprit for you?
My scale briefly forgot which direction we were going
