Honestly, i’m back after losing 45 lbs in 2023, regaining 22 of it, and restarting in May. I’m 5'6", 208 now, and my first goal is just 199 before my sister’s wedding in October. I saw the news about a newer combo regimen doing well in a mid-stage study, and my brain did that thing: half of me got excited about future options, half of me felt stupid for not sticking with what already worked for me. I don’t want to chase every headline. I just want to string together boring weeks: protein at breakfast, a 20-minute walk after dinner, logging the handfuls I pretend don’t count. But I’d be lying if I said the new data didn’t make me wonder what’s coming. Anyone else get a little emotional when trial news drops while you’re mid-restart?
New trial headlines make my restart feel both hopeful and wobbly
