Night shift worker here. Eleven months on this med and my insurance quietly moved it to a non-covered tier in January. So I've been doing the paperwork runaround on my days off.
What I've actually tried: the manufacturer savings card. Took three tries to activate and it only helps if your insurance has something on file. My clinic has a sliding scale but the waitlist is four months. Also ran a generic discount card at the counter, and it was cheaper than cash price but not by enough to feel like a win.
Not asking for dosing talk. Just want to know which boxes people actually checked. Did anyone get a prior auth pushed through on appeal? What did your doctor write in the letter that made it stick?
Blunt answers only. I'm tired and I've got a shift in six hours.
