The habit that outlasted my motivation somewhere in month three

Hit the three-month mark this week and the thing I'm proudest of isn't a number. It's that my evenings have a shape now.

Four nights a week I put on shoes right after dinner and walk two loops around the block — 20 minutes, same route, same podcast. Then peppermint tea while my teenager grumbles through homework.

Two months ago that hour was me grazing in front of the TV without really noticing I was doing it. The walk isn't exercise in any impressive sense, but it's the first habit I've kept past the exciting part.

Appetite being quieter helps, no question, but the routine is what makes the quiet feel usable instead of just weird. So I'm curious: now that the newness has worn off for you too, what's the one small thing still holding?

Not the headline stuff — the boring one.
