I did the math at the kitchen counter Tuesday while my 8-year-old was hunting for a snack and my 5-year-old was yelling that the granola bars were the wrong shape. I’ve been comparing the monthly number to our grocery total, because that’s the budget line it actually fights with.
One quote looked low, then the program and shipping nudged it past what I’d mentally set aside. I wrote the real total on an index card and stuck it inside the snack drawer, mostly so I stop pretending the promo number is the whole story.
I’m not chasing names, just wondering: for those who’ve kept this going a while, does a lower monthly number stay lower, or does it always climb once the first month is over?
