Polypeptide Group is one of the largest contract peptide manufacturers in the world. We've used them for both GMP and non-GMP peptide synthesis for clinical development. Their facilities in Sweden and US are both FDA-inspected. Quality is consistently exceptional. They manufacture GLP-1 APIs for major pharmaceutical companies. Like Bachem, this is not a consumer vendor — it's for pharma companies needing industrial-scale peptide manufacturing.
Two years working with Polypeptide Group on a Phase 2 trial. Their peptide synthesis scale-up from research to GMP production was seamless. Documentation is comprehensive and audit-ready. Never had a quality issue. They handle everything from custom synthesis to generic peptide APIs. Pricing is competitive for pharma-grade products. Highly recommended for drug development programs.
Polypeptide Group makes outstanding peptides — the quality is undeniable. But as a mid-size biotech we sometimes find their minimum order quantities and lead times challenging. They're set up for large pharma orders, not small research batches. If you need 100g+ of a GMP peptide, they're perfect. For smaller research quantities, you'll need to look at their non-GMP catalog or elsewhere.
