Month seven stall and the GH peptide chatter is tempting

I'm 14 months into this, down 51 pounds, currently 206, and the scale has been flat for 26 days. I lift twice a week, get around 120 grams of protein, walk after dinner, and still the belly is just not moving. Two guys at my gym keep talking about a GH peptide like it's the miracle switch for stubborn fat. I'm not going to pretend I haven't clicked around at midnight. But I also remember how many supplements promised the same thing before GLP-1 actually worked. For people who've been around longer: did anything like that ever show up in your own tracking, or was it just better sleep and a lighter wallet? Not looking for product names, just trying to sort hype from something real.

I track everything too, and the only thing that broke my month-7 flat (34 days) was noticing the scale was flat while my waist went from 38.5 to 37.25 and my top set on squats went up. What’s your 7-day rolling weight average and your waist at the navel? If those aren’t both flat, you’re recomping, not stalled. If they are, I’d audit the unlogged stuff before blaming hormones—my “120g protein” was actually 98g once I weighed the scoop and the bites. The gym peptide guys never seem to bring their own trendlines.

Tbh the 26-day flat sucks. I hit a similar wall around month 8. Scale didn’t move, but my waist was down 1.5 inches and lifts were up, so I was holding water/recomping. What actually unstuck me was boring: I tracked every bite for 10 days and found ~250 cal/day in coffee creamer, oil, and pre-dinner “tastes.” My step count had also quietly dropped from 9k to 6k. No peptide, just plugged those leaks. Sharp question: are your waist and progress photos flat too
