Peptides aren’t new, the spotlight just moved over here

I’ve been around this board for about three years now, and I keep a notes doc that’s up to 46 saved threads since 2023. Peptide chatter isn’t new here. What’s different in 2026 is the volume: the same names that used to live in a niche corner are now showing up in general GLP-1 conversations, in my cousin’s group chat, even in comments under completely unrelated videos. My take? The drugs everyone already knows made the word “peptide” feel familiar, and then telehealth, compounding headlines, and short-form video gave the older compounds a second lap. Some of it may be real interest in recovery, skin, sleep, whatever. Some of it feels like the wellness machine finding a new aisle. I’m not rushing to chase any of it while my current routine is steady. For the long-timers, does this look like genuine momentum or just the same handful of compounds getting repackaged every few years?
