Not a crisis post, just a 'huh' post. I’m a broke grad student, mostly living on dining hall eggs, tuna packets, and cottage cheese I hide in the dorm fridge from my roommate. Lately I keep getting that floaty, lights-dim feeling when I stand up too fast — today it hit on the stairwell between the library and the bus stop. I had to stand there holding the railing like a Victorian lady with a 20-pound backpack. I’ve been eating lighter on GLP-1, and some days my 'lunch' is a protein shake and an apple because my meal swipes run out Friday. I know y’all aren’t my doctor. I’m just curious whether anyone else has had the standing-up-too-fast weirdness and what cheap dorm protein you keep around for days when your appetite is basically a rumor. I’m not trying to faint into the salad bar and become campus lore.
