Since last April I've been logging daily: weight, resting heart rate, sleep hours, steps, an eyeballed protein number, water, mood 1–5, waist tape on Sundays, whether I lifted, whether I ate past 9pm, and stairs vs elevator. That's 209 rows as of this morning.
Out of curiosity I lined up my 7-day rolling average against every column. Three of them actually match the weeks I lose: sleep under 7 hours wrecks it, steps above roughly 8k help, and two lifting sessions help. Protein and water? Nothing. Which is irritating, since protein is where I've spent most of my mental energy for months.
Honestly my log is better than my behavior right now. Curious whether anyone else's own numbers have contradicted the stuff you read everywhere — not trying to start a study debate, just wondering what your sheets say.
