Our youngest moved out this spring, and I’m learning to cook for two without the old grazing rhythm. I take a 25-minute loop after dinner now, same route, and my grocery list has gotten shorter for the first time in years.
The scale moved maybe 1.5 pounds this month, which is quieter than the early weeks. What’s surprised me is how normal it feels to leave food on the plate and not think about it again.
I’m logging less and walking more. For anyone further along: did your progress become boring before it became steady?
