The only thing I want lately is frozen peas

Dinner in this house is a moving target: one kid eats at 5, the other picks at 6:30 after practice. I used to graze the snack drawer while I warmed their plates—fruit snacks, pretzel rods, whatever was left. Lately the only thing I want is frozen peas. Still frozen. A little lemon pepper. I eat them out of a mug standing at the counter. No idea why. Cold and crunchy, and it quiets the fridge-checking loop better than crackers did. My partner says it looks feral. The one strategy that helped: I moved the snack drawer to the top shelf so I have to reach past the coffee can. The weird part is sweets mostly bore me now, but this one thing is a daily ritual. Anyone else stuck on one random food? Does it fade, or am I going to be a frozen-pea person until summer?
