I'm logging the boring middle chapter, not quitting

Down 46 pounds since last spring. For the last seven weeks my morning weight has bounced inside a 2.5-pound range. I'm not gaining, I'm not losing, and my brain keeps asking what the point of the scale is. What's actually keeping me sane: my waist is down another inch, my resting heart rate is lower, and I can do the stairs at work without pretending I'm fine. Still lifting twice a week, walking after dinner, protein at breakfast. I know it works. I also know patience is not a personality trait I have. Anyone else in the boring middle? What keeps you from white-knuckling the next weigh-in?
