I weigh every morning, but I only make decisions from the 7-day average. Yesterday the warehouse had a giant pack of 30g shakes on sale, so I grabbed two. Had one after a short lift and another around 4pm when my brain wanted something crunchy. This morning the scale was up 1.6 lb, which is exactly the kind of blip I used to spiral over. My trend line is still down 0.2 for the week, so I’m calling it sodium, extra volume, and a later dinner. The sale was a win; the number was just weather. For folks who also stock up when protein is cheap, how do you keep a good deal from becoming a daily obligation?

Ha, I had almost the same thing last month: two shakes on a lifting day, scale +1.4 the next morning, then back down by day 3.
