Two kids, swim practice, and a snack drawer. That was my whole system. Appetite went quiet early on, so I stopped making myself a plate at dinner. I'd stand at the counter, eat a few crackers and a cheese stick, call it done, then crash into bedtime routines. By day 12 I was shaky and weirdly emotional by 7pm. Not a dramatic emergency, just me realizing I'd eaten like a toddler who isn't hungry. Now I keep yogurt cups and boiled eggs where I see them, and I sit down for ten minutes even if it's just cereal. Snacks are backup, not the meal. Anyone else have to relearn that the hard way?
