Two snack bins so I stop grazing at kid dinner

I’ve got two kids and the 5:30 dinner scramble turns me into a human vacuum. Last week I set up two snack bins: top shelf mine (cheese sticks, turkey sticks, almonds in 1/4-cup cups), bottom bin theirs (crackers, fruit snacks, mini pretzels). The rule is if I’m standing in the kitchen while their quesadilla cooks, I can take one thing from my bin and a seltzer, then leave the room. Sounds stupidly simple, but it’s cut the handful-of-crackers math way down. I’m at 232, so getting under 230 is the next marker I’m eyeing. Not dramatic, just trying to make the after-school hours less snacky. What’s in your snack drawer that actually helps vs. what you buy for the kids and end up eating yourself?
