I’ve been around this community about three years, and I keep noticing these small shifts that don’t show up on a scale. Last Saturday I ran into a regular supermarket for three things and ended up wandering for twenty minutes—baking aisle, international section, frozen vegetables. Nothing dramatic. I just wasn’t rehearsing excuses in my head or calculating whether a single item was worth the mental debate. I bought oranges, a rotisserie chicken, and a weird jar of chili crisp because they sounded good. My total was $61, and I wasn’t white-knuckling the checkout. A while back someone posted about how errands can feel loaded; that stuck with me. The store used to feel like a decision maze. Lately it’s just a store. For those further along, did ordinary shopping get quieter for you, or does it stay a little complicated?
