GenScript first order, anyone here actually used them

Anyone here dealt with GenScript? I'm looking at them as a possible vendor and would rather hear from people before I even bother evaluating an actual order. Big one for me: does their online catalog make it obvious which reagents, peptides, proteins and kits ship with a lot-specific COA? And are those easy to match to a lot, or is it a request-and-wait situation? Not trying to dunk on them, just don't want to burn time if the paperwork side turns out to be a mess.

I've been keeping a little vendor diary. GenScript's catalog sometimes says 'COA available' in a tiny tab, but it's not on every lot page. I always open a ticket before ordering.

Short quip: if it's not downloadable pre-checkout, I assume it's 'ask and pray.'

My rep told me lot-specific COAs come with most peptides and proteins, but kits can be mixed. I now ask for a sample COA with the quote.

Following. I ran into the same thing last month. The chat agent sent a lot COA within an hour, but the page itself was vague.

I started copying the lot number into my notes and requesting the COA in the same email as the PO. Saves back-and-forth later.

Not sure about all reagents, but their custom peptide quotes included a line about documentation. I'd get that in writing before evaluating.
