I built one tab that compares my med by total cost per mg, but the ranking flips depending on what I include. Example: a 5 mg vial at $150 looks like $30/mg.
A 10 mg vial at $230 is $23/mg. Add $28 cold shipping, and the bigger one is $25.80/mg.
Add a 10-day restock wait plus one week of stockouts, and the cheaper-per-mg option is the one that leaves me scrambling. I now track delivered cost, order date, ship time, and whether it arrived cold.
I don't care who has the lowest list price if I have to babysit the checkout page every Tuesday. For those who keep a sheet: do you compare by cost per mg, cost per month, or delivered cost per day of coverage?
And do you count shipping separately or bake it in?
