Two kids, so our pantry is basically a snack drawer with shelves. Used to be I'd open a bag of pretzel sticks during the after-school chaos and it'd be gone by Thursday, mostly because I'd graze while making their plates. Opened the current bag 11 days ago and there's still a third left. Same with the block of cheddar — I used to nibble the ends off while cooking, now it just sits there until taco night. Not dramatic, just weird to notice. My husband keeps asking if the pretzels went stale. They haven't, I just keep forgetting they exist. Anyone else measuring progress by how long groceries last instead of the scale?
