Anyone else curious about GH peptides alongside retatrutide?

Tbh I've been around here about three years, mostly lurking through the semaglutide and tirzepatide threads before reta became the shiny new thing. Down 74 lbs over 16 months, currently 5'8", 192, lifting three mornings a week and walking after dinner. Reta has been solid for appetite and keeping me steady, but recovery and sleep are still mediocre. I've seen old threads where people swear by ipamorelin or tesamorelin for sleep, skin, and gym recovery, but I'm not sure if that's just placebo or noise. I'm not asking for a protocol or anything medical, just curious whether anyone here has actually paired a GH peptide with reta and noticed anything beyond the usual water weight and appetite changes. Did it move the needle for you, or was it one more variable that made tracking harder? I'm tempted to just keep it simple for another few months.

Three-year club here too. There was a good thread last fall about recovery tracking—not peptides, just sleep consistency—that changed how I looked at this. What does your “mediocre” actually look like: trouble falling asleep, 3am wakeups, or just low readiness in the morning? For me, the 3am wakeups tracked almost perfectly with eating my last big meal too close to bed, and shifting dinner earlier plus a boring wind-down helped more than anything I added. Still curious about the GH side, but I’d want to see sleep data before chasing it. Have you tried logging wakeups vs. just total hours? That distinction was the useful part for me.

I went down that peptide rabbit hole too, then realized my sleep was the bigger lever. Two weeks of boring tracking—watch on, logging lights-out, wake-ups, and whether my after-dinner walk was too close to bed—showed my bad recovery days were mostly late screens and 9pm walks, not my current med. Moved the walk earlier, kept a paper log of protein/water, and morning HRV finally stopped tanking. Still not perfect, but better than adding another variable blind. Are you tracking sleep stages or just going by feel? If you try the peptide angle, I’d be curious whether recovery or sleep shifts first.

Honestly, fellow empty-nester here — the quiet house threw off my evenings more than I expected. Two things actually helped my sleep: moving my main meal earlier and taking the walk before dinner instead of after, so I'm not still buzzing at 10. Also swapped my afternoon coffee for tea, which felt dramatic but wasn't.

Curious — is your mediocre recovery showing up more as soreness or as flat energy? I ask because mine turned out to be the second one, and it tracked with sleep way more than with lifting volume.
