Reading about newly legal peptides while my old log judges me

I lost 64 lbs a couple years ago, gave back 31 of them, and I’m six weeks into climbing out again. So when I saw the news that some peptides are back in play for compounding, my brain did that old thing: hope first, then dread. The last time I chased every shiny option, I spent more time reading than walking. Today I’m just doing my Sunday weigh-in, my 10-day average, protein at breakfast, and a 20-minute loop after dinner. I’m not changing anything based on a headline, mostly because my regain history makes me cautious, not because I think anyone else is wrong. I guess I’m curious whether this news landed as exciting for other people or just stirred up the “what if I’m missing something” noise. Did it make you want to research, or did it make you want to close the tab and go for a walk?
