Recomp brain won't let me call a finished goal finished

I hit the bodyweight I picked in a spreadsheet two years ago and felt basically nothing. That absence of a feeling is what got me thinking. I'd set that number back when lifting 4x/week was aspirational and protein was whatever sounded reasonable, not 190g locked in every day. Now I'm pulling 315 for reps, my waist hasn't moved in five months, sleep is consistent, and the mirror stopped being interesting a while back. By every metric I actually track, I'm there. But there's no finish line printed anywhere, so I keep making tiny adjustments like they'll deliver a feeling I probably already earned. Does the goal ever actually close out for you, or does it just slide one rep ahead forever? Curious how the lifters here define enough without moving the post every time life gets boring.
