What sub-$20 purchase changed one habit for you?

I’m not after a miracle gadget, and I’d rather hear specifics than “game changer.” My appetite is quieter since starting a GLP-1, but the 8–10 p.m. window is still where my hand finds crackers without asking me. The only cheap thing that’s stuck is a $12 mechanical timer. I set it after I close the kitchen: 15 minutes for dishes and leftovers, then 20 minutes walking or stretching. It sounds too dumb to matter, but my food log shows evening snacks went from five nights a week to two. I can’t prove the timer is the active ingredient; it might just be a boundary cue. Still, that’s a better return than the $18 “immunity” tea I bought and ignored. What sub-$20 item actually changed one behavior for you, and what did it replace? I’m looking for stuff with a clear mechanism, not hype.
