Does the weekly loss rate normally taper this fast?

I keep a running weekly average in a notes app, mostly because daily weigh-ins lie to me. Started in the mid-290s, hovering around 185 now. What I didn't expect: the average weekly drop went from about 2.4 lbs in the first few months to somewhere near 0.6 now, even though my meals and daily walks haven't changed much.

I'm not panicking, and I'm not looking for anyone to tell me what to do. I just want to know whether that curve is mostly explained by being lighter, or whether it usually points at something else worth checking. The trial data I can find gives average total loss but rarely breaks it out month by month, and most of what I see online is either "totally normal" with zero numbers behind it or someone selling something.

So: has anyone here tracked their own monthly rate and watched it bend? Or found a study that actually plots the taper? I'd rather read a boring table than another anecdote, honestly.
