Not a protocol post — my protocol is mostly dining-hall guesswork and a rice cooker older than some freshmen. Dorm budget means potein comes from eggs, canned tuna, lentils, and whatever yogurt is on sale.
I did about six months on a GLP-1 and lost 38 lbs, but the last month was weirdly flat. Then my refill got delayed and I was off it for two weeks.
The appetite chatter came back around 8 p.m., and I definitely had a sad granola-bar moment. Weight bounced up 2 lbs, then mostly came back down.
What stuck were the unglamorous things: filling my water bottle before class, keeping tuna packets in my backpack, and walking the long way to the library. What didn’t stick was my elaborate meal-prep fantasy.
Did a forced break show anyone else which habits were real and which were just med momentum?
