I've been keeping a two-line note every evening: what I actually ate at dinner, and how interested I stayed in it. The second line has told me more than most weigh-ins.
In the trials, satiety and craving stuff gets measured with validated questionnaires and averaged across hundreds of people, so I try not to over-read my own n=1. But my pattern is oddly lopsided.
The amount I eat at meals barely moved. What changed was the after-dinner window — that "I want something else, and then something after that" hum just went quiet around week six and hasn't fully come back.
Rough math puts me maybe 200 calories a day below where I was, which is real over months but not the cliff some people describe.
Morning hunger, meanwhile, is completely untouched. Growl, empty stomach, all of it, same as before.
So the effect for me reads less like a volume knob and more like someone closed one specific door. Curious whether anyone else noticed theirs show up in one narrow part of the day instead of across the board.
