I stopped treating every hungry evening like a crisis

I've been maintaining for about 14 months now, usually between 148 and 151. The part that still frustrates me isn't the number; it's how quickly a normal off day can feel like evidence that everything is slipping. Last Wednesday I skipped lunch, ate a huge bowl of pasta at 7, and then spent an hour scrolling peptide threads like I needed a new strategy. I didn't. Thursday was eggs, a walk, and an early night. By Saturday my two-line log looked boring again. Maintenance has mostly been learning that one loud evening is not a trend. I still keep protein at breakfast and a water bottle in the car, but I'm trying to stop auditioning every new fix. Does anyone else find the mental noise is louder than the actual maintenance?
