Protein in maintenance: I aim for boring and repeatable

I'm about a year and a half past my goal weight, and appetite is still a bit of a mystery day to day. What helped was lowering the bar. Instead of trying to build a perfect high-protein plate, I attach a palm-sized portion to whatever I'm already eating: cottage cheese with breakfast, leftover chicken on a salad, edamame while dinner cooks. My target is roughly 110-130 g, but I don't hit it every day. The wins are the defaults I don't have to think about: a rotisserie chicken shredded into four containers on Sunday, boiled eggs in the fridge, Greek yogurt in the same bowl every morning. It's not exciting, which is probably why it works. For those further along, what's your no-decision protein habit when appetite is barely there?
